Born in England on Aug. 25, 1888. Flowers was in Los Angeles in 1930 and worked on the Federal Art Project while in San Francisco in the 1930s. His supervisor described him as a "pictorial artist leaning toward the commercial or illustrative." He died in Mendocino, CA March 4, 1950.
