Born in Los Angeles, CA on May 4, 1907. Johnson studied painting with Millard Sheets and Arthur Millier. His subject matter includes scenes of Los Angeles. During the 1940s he was a set designer and art director for the movie industry. A lifelong resident of Los Angeles, he died on Oct. 27, 1995. Exh: Artists Fiesta (LA), 1931; Calif.
