Born in 1955 in Seattle Washington, he received a bachelor of fine art from the University of Washington in 1982. Jensen's primary work is sculpture in wood and metal, but he also works in paint and print mediums.
He is the recipient of numerous awards including the Morris Graves Fellowship. The artists sculpture can be found in public collections throughout the US and Japan.
