Born on Sept. 19, 1882 in Cortland, NY. Miller studied at the Pratt Institute for four years and in Paris with Jean Despujols whome she assisted in enlarging the Bordeaux Tower mural which was exhibited at the Arts and Crafts Show in Paris in 1925. She was called to San Diego in 1933 to take care of a sick aunt and was employed by the Federal Art Project to paint murals in public buildings in southern California. During the 1940s she was a resident of Los Angeles and Ojai, CA during the 1950s and 1960s. During her later years she turned to lapidary work with stones gathered from California beaches. A spinster, she died in Ventura, CA on Sept. 23, 1980. Exh: NY Architectural League, 1930; Santa Cruz Art League, 1938. Murals: Jamaica
