T. Bailey Howe was active/lived in Massachusetts.  T Howe is known for marine painter-clipper ships.

Biography   T. Howe


Known as Captain T Bailey Howe, he became the master of a Nantucket whaling ship, the "Isabella", and also a marine painter, especially of ships. He was the art teacher of his well-known marine artist son, Harry Howe.
