The following is from the artist:

Teddy Draper, Jr., was born October 3, 1949 on the Navajo reservation in Arizona. His maternal clan is Naashgahli Dine'e, paternal clan is Ashiihi, maternal grandfather's clan is Todicheeni, and paternal grandfather's clan is Tohahelini.

Draper is the son of a WWII Navajo Marine "Code Talker" and is a holder of many awards for his art. His primary medium is pastel, but he also uses oil, watercolors, sculpture and modern/traditional design Navajo jewelry.

He has served on the Gallup Intertribal Indian Ceremonial Board, the Fine Arts Showcase and Indian Market during the Navajo Nation Fair and is presently serving on the advisory board of The Pueblo Grande Museum's Annual Indian Market   ...  Displaying 750 of 2263 characters.
