Born in New York on Oct. 6, 1907. Reed graduated from high school in San Jose, CA and then continued at Carnegie Tech, University of Michigan, Columbia University, AIC, and in Brussels. He represented Michigan with a sculptured wolverine at the GGIE and taught sculpture at San Jose State College in 1939-41. He died in Oakland, CA on June 26, 1993. In: U.S. Senate.
