One of five children of famous caricaturist Thomas Nast, Sr., and Sarah Edwards Nast, Thomas Nast, Jr. became an illustrator and designer for Tiffany Studios of New York. Tod Caviness, writer for the Orlando Sentinel newspaper, referenced his work in a review of a Christmas display at the Morse Museum: "Christmas Eve is the perfect time to visit, as the Morse offers free admission to its stained glass exhibits, including Tiffany Studios' Christmas Eve, a 1902 beauty designed by Thomas Nast Jr. for his sister's New York home."
