Biography   Tobias Dyonis Raulino


Tobias Dyonis Raulino was born in Mainz in 1787, the son of a merchant.

In 1820, he came to Vienna.  His small and charming watercolour vedutas of Vienna and its surroundings were very popular.  In 1825, he presumably painted all drafts for the landscape series "Wiens Mahler: Umgebungen" for the publishing house Joseph Trentsensky in Vienna.

Tobias Dyonis Raulino passed away in 1838.
