Biography Tristram James Ellis
Born in Great Malven Britain's Barnes and died in 1922. He studied painting in Paris, but worked as a mechanic. He was especially interested in the landscape, which is painted in oil paintings. But he specialized in watercolor and etching to yield artistic emotions of the numerous trips made. Visited Middle Eastern countries in 1878 and in 1896 and Syria in 1880. Cyprus was visited in September 1878, even reached the island by ship Laconia. He painted around 80 projects on Cyprus, as well as various scenes and landscapes in a series of engravings by the method of etching.
