Tuvia Beeri is active/lives in Czech Republic, Israel.  Tuvia Beeri is known for abstract landscape painting, etching, lithography, teaching.

Biography   Tuvia Beeri

Born in Topolcany, Czechoslovakia, painter-printmaker Tuvia Beeri emigrated to Israel in 1948 where he studied at the Oranim Art School with Marcel Janco and Jacov Wexler. He studied etching techniques with Johnny Friedlaender and lithography at the Ecole des Beaux-Arts Paris from 1961 to 1963.

Upon his return to Israel in 1963 he taught for a year at the Bezalel School of Art, Jerusalem, and since 1964 he has taught etching at the Avni Institute of Art in Tel Aviv.

He has been awarded several important prizes for his work including the Milo Prize in Tel Aviv (1969), and a gold medal at the Florence Biennale (1972).
