Ursula Hall (Seay) Lauderdale was active/lived in Texas, Missouri.  Ursula Lauderdale is known for landscape, still life, wood carver.

Biography   Ursula Lauderdale

Ursula Hall Lauderdale (Mrs. Edward Seay Lauderdale, Ursula Lauderdale Rahl), 1872-1968, was born in Moberly, Missouri. Hers was a multi-faceted art career as painter, designer, wood carver, teacher and lecturer. Lauderdale was educated there at St. Mary's Academy and the Goetz Conservatory of Music as well as later at the Warren Institute and Texas Wesleyan College, Fort Worth.

In New York City, she attended the Art Students League, Sargent School of Dramatic Art, and the Metropolitan Arts Studio. Lauderdale's teachers at the various institutions included Robert Henri, Michel Jacobs, William DeVol, and Maurice Braun.
