Victor Millonzi, b. December 17, 1915 - d. March 18, 1997
Victor Millonzi's last exhibition was a posthumous one at West Valley Art Museum (at that time known as Sun Cities Museum of Art) in Surprise, Arizona. It was May 20th, 1997.
Victor Millonzi was prolific and completed many distinct series of artwork. While wintering in Florida, he studied sunsets over the water and that resulted in his long and narrow brilliantly colored sunset paintings. When waterfowl captured his interest he took up wood carving and made many exquisitely painted decoys. While owning an antique shop, he fell in love with the luminescence of colored glass.
