Biography Vince Grimaldi
Born in New York City, Vince Grimaldi studied at the Art Students League, studying under Reginald Marsh and Jon Corbino. Throughout his career, Grimaldi has used many techniques, but he has always returned to the collage.
Drafted in 1951, he left the Art Students League and went to Korea, where he accidentally discovered a passion for photography. A friend suggested that photography would help him express himself, and psychologically endure the war years.
Returning to New York, Vince enrolled in the art studies program of the New School for Social Research, where he stayed 3 years. During the years as a student, Vince supported himself with dozens of jobs. One position he held was at the Metropolitan Museum of Art. At the Me
