Born in San Francisco, CA on Sept. 17, 1906. After graduating from the CCAC in 1926, Viola Siebe taught art at Turlock (CA) High School until 1939. While there, she met her husband-to-be, Harry Sonntag. During the 1940s and 1950s the couple lived in Oakland. In 1960 she illustrated the book Streams in a Thirsty Land by her close friend Helen Lohenthal. Mrs. Sonntag died in Turlock on Dec. 29, 1999. Member: Pacific AA.
