Biography Vladimir Aralov
The Russian painter Vladimir Nicolaevich Aralov studied at the Moscow
School of Painting, Sculpture and Architecture, from 1908 to 1913. After
the First World War, when he had served the Red Army, Aralov was active
as a member of the artists’ association of the USSR, from 1939 to 1972.
In his works he usually described lyrical and highly atmospheric
landscapes, in which he unveiled the beauty and diversity of Russian
nature. Furthermore Aralov created a series of depictions of
architectural monuments in Moscow. (cbo)
