Biography Wayland Wells Williams
State Director of the Works Progress Administration in Connecticut in the 1930s, Wayland Williams was also a fine art painter and an author of The Whirligig of Time, Goshen Street and The Seafarers.
He lived in New Haven, Connecticut and Salisbury, Connecticut. He was an art student the Yale School of Art.
Memberships included the New Haven Paint and Clay Club.
