Growing up the daughter of immigrant parents in a community that embraced diversity, Wendy Wilkerson continues to celebrate multi-culturalism in her personal life and art.
Today, Wilkerson, who is married to a Native American, lives in Washington, DC and finds the city's international spirit and population an inspiration for her art.
