Will H Chandlee born 1865, died 1954

Mr. Chandlee was published as an illustrator in Pearsons Magazine on two occasions:
December 1904: The American House of Lords by David S. Barry
January 1906:The Power of the Press by David S. Barry

He also illustrated:
Mother Goose In Washington: A Story of Old King Dole and His Humpty Dumpty Court. New York: The Telegraph Press, 1936.

He is sited as using a glass etching method referred to as "vitreographs" to make prints. "Similarly the American illustrator William H. Chandlee who made monotypes on a glass surface, called his prints "vitreographs" signifying glass prin   ...  Displaying 750 of 1184 characters.
