Born in San Francisco, CA on Jan. 13, 1906. Dohrmann studied at the CSFA, New York School of Fine Arts, and in Paris at Académie de la Grande Chaumière. A lifelong resident of the San Francisco Bay area, he died in Mill Valley on Sept. 16, 1989. An Impressionist, his work includes landscapes of Marin County and scenes of the craft on San Francisco Bay.
