Biography   William Hudson Jr.

The following biographical information has been provided by Lee Viverette, reference librarian at Virginia Museum of Fine Arts, Richmond, Virginia.

He exhibited three portrait paintings at the National Academy of Design in 1858. Address in 1858 was 137 Montague Place, Brooklyn.

Entry reads "flourished 1818-58.  Portrait, miniature, and landscape painter.  He worked in Richmond [VA] in 1818; in 1829-56 he was in Boston; in 1857-58 he was in Brooklyn.
