Elizabeth Armer Bissinger was born in San Francisco, CA on Feb. 21, 1899. After graduating from Girl's High School, Elizabeth attended UCLA. She was the niece of artist Sidney Armer and a member and regular exhibitor at the Women's City Club of San Francisco. A lifelong resident of her native city, Mrs. Bissinger died on Oct. 27, 1978 in Los Angeles where she was taken when succumbing to cancer. Her work includes landscapes and still lifes in oil and portraits in crayon.
