EDWARD FAWCETT CAREY (June 3, 1932 – August 3, 1985)

A.K.A. “Ted Carey”

Painter, designer, collector, author, and teacher.  Known to his friends as "Ted," he is best remembered as a prominent collaborator, studio assistant, shopping partner, and possible one-time lover of the famous American artist, Andy Warhol (1928 – 1987). 
Edward “Ted” Carey was born in Chester, Delaware County, Pennsylvania, the son of Ruth and Paul J. Carey Sr.  He was raised in Chester, Pennsylvania first on North Chester Road and later at the property, “Rupaca Far   ...  Displaying 750 of 9187 characters.
