Ann F Hobdy (1888-1959)
She was born September 2, 1888 and is the adopted child of James Wallace and Estella Edwards Hobdy of Simpson County Kentucky. While living in New York City in 1924, Ann applied for a passport to study in France and England. She was married to Frank Hamlin but retained her maiden name after the divorce. From 1920 to 1925, she was a member of the Art Students League.
Ann Hobdy died in Greenwich, Fairfield, Connecticut on March 23, 1959. She was cremated.
