Born in England on December 25, 1874. Lawford studied art in England. He was active in Minneapolis during 1910-1918. He then moved to Santa Barbara, CA where he was active as an interior designer until 1929 or longer. He died in Alameda, CA on September 2, 1947. Member: Attic Club; Minneapolis Art League. Exhibited: Minneapolis Institute, 1915 (first prize); Minneapolis Art Commission, 1917 (gold medal); St Paul Institute, 1917 (bronze medal).
