Biography   Walter E. Reinicke

Walter E. Reinicke worked as an illustrator in Munich, as an employee of the Fliegende Blätter (“flying leafs”).  The Fliegende Blatter was a humoristic and satirical magazine, and the Münchner Bilderbogen, a series of popular prints.

He illustrated for the books Lustiges aus der Tierwelt (1900) and Für Kinder die gerne lachen (1910), both published by Braun & Schneider.

Reinicke studied at the Dresden academy (1876-1880), and in Munich (1880-1882).
