Amy Josephine Klauber Wormser was active/lived in California.  Amy Wormser is known for easel painter, fabric and wallpaper design.

Biography   Amy Wormser

Born in San Diego, CA on April 28, 1903. Amy Klauber studied at Mills College (Oakland) under Roi Partridge, and in Vienna at the Kunstgewerbeschule (1929-31). She was the wife of Paul Heyneman from 1923-33 and in 1934 wed Paul Wormser. She later returned to the CSFA for further study with emphasis on applied design. Her paintings were done between 1920-1940s; she then specialized in fabric and wallpaper design. She died in San Diego on May 7, 1988. Member: San Diego Museum of Art; Asian Arts Committee. Exh: Artists Cooperative Gallery (SF), 1934 (solo); SF Academy of Sciences (1955); San Diego Public Library; San Diego FA Gallery. In: San Diego Natural History Museum (Wild Flowers of Lake Tahoe).
