Stanislaw Czajkowski (1878 Warsaw - Sandomierz 1958)
The younger brother of the painter Joseph Tchaikovsky, he began to study painting under Wojciech Gerson in Warsaw. Later, in the years 1896-1903 and 1906/1907, he studied at the Academy of Fine Arts under the direction of Jacek Malczewski, Jozef Mehoffer, Leon Wyczólkowski and Jan Stanislawski, then the Munich Academy (1903) and the Académie Julian in Paris (1904-1906) .
After graduation he traveled to Italy and returned to home, making many painting trips around the country. The years 1914-1918 were spent in the Netherlands; there he painted landscapes and presented solo exhibitions in The Hague, Amsterdam and Rotterdam.
