Biography Alexis Gorodine
Alexis Gorodine was born in 1944 in Malicorne, France. Between 1970 and 1975 he studied at the Atelier d'Urbanisme, Martinique, Studio (engaving) Louis Calevaert-Brun, Paris and the Atelier Sauve-qui-peut, Paris.
From 1977 to 1982, Gorodine worked and travelled in Africa, USA and South America. Between 1982 and 1991 he lived and worked in New York. In 1992 he returned to his native France and settled in Paris where he has remained to date.
