Biography Walter Seymour
Information from relative Seymour Jennings, relative of Walter Seymour
To the best of my knowledge Walter Seymour was either the brother or the son of my great great grandfather George Langford Seymour, who is better known and worked as a prolific painter and illustrator.
Walter taught etching at the Bolt Court school of art. He exhibited five subjects at the Royal Academy Summer Exhibitions of 1905, 1907, 1908, and 1905.
He lived at various London addresses including Red Lion Square.
The Seymour family was active in the visual arts, the theatre and the early cinema. His sister Madeline Seymour was a well known actress on the stage and in film.
