Biography Ingeborg Westfelt-Eggertz
Ingeborg Westfelt-Eggertz was born in Stockholm in 1855 and studied at the Art Academy in Stockholm in the 1870s, as well as in Paris under Collin and Courtois from 1883 to 1890. From 1887 to 1890, she directed an art school in Paris. She then lived in Stockholm, Visby, Landskrona, and Gothenburg.
Westfelt-Eggertz has received several prices, including the Gold Medal for Oil Painting in Arcachon, and the silver medal of Versailles.
Westfelt-Eggertz died in 1936.
