Biography Marcel-Adolphe Bain
Marcel Adolphe Bain studied with Jules Lefèbvre and Tony Robert-Fleury and produced landscapes of the Yonne region.
He exhibited in Paris at the Salon des Artistes Français from 1903, receiving a third-class medal in 1905 and a second-class medal in 1910, eventually taking part hors concours. He was made a Chevalier of the Légion d'Honneur in 1931, having served in the Army in World War I as a camouflage artist.
