Baudoin was one of the last great French post-impressionist painters. He grew up in the Ile de Ré, a beautiful island off La Rochelle, where he was influenced by the hugely popular Impressionist artists (including Monet, Pissarro, Degas, and Van Gogh). His family environment naturally guided him towards art, his father being a sculptor and owning a studio in Paris.
Baudoin's paintings are currently represented in the public collections of a number of regional French national galleries. His recently acclaimed work has been sold alongside other great post-impressionists in auction houses internationally.
