Patrick Drouin was born in 1948.
For five years, the artist learned sculpture in the workshop of Edmond Moirignot. Additionally, he received the advice of his elders
Paul Belmondo and Jean Carton.
He participated in the major trade fairs in Paris: Salon des artistes français, Salon d'automne, Salon des indépendants, and the National Society of Fine Arts.
Drouin was awarded numerous prizes, including the Sandoz Prize of the Taylor Foundation in 1983, the Paul Louis Weiller Prize of the Institut de France in 1985, the sculpture prize at the Salon d'Automne in Paris in Charles Malfray Award from the Taylor Foundation, and the Andréï-Gaec Grand Prize in 2015.
