dt genre painter (1825 Augsburg and 1899 Munich), first painting lessons with Johann Geyer at the Polytechnic School in Augsburg, in 1842 studied at the Munich Academy under Clemens Zimmermann and Julius Schnorr von Carolsfeld, then as a teacher at the Holiday continuation school. in Augsburg worked, went in 1863 to Munich again in order to devote himself fully to painting, charged in 1863 the exhibitions of artists association, many of his works were published during his lifetime as postcards and in magazines, father of Max Gaisser, source: Thieme-Becker , Boetticher, Matriculation Book of the Munich Academy and Wikipedia.
