Leeb was a young protege of the old Claude Monet. Leeb is considered one of the finest colorist painters working in the twentieth century. He won his first international competition (taking first and second) when he was only 14, and through his career created an extraordinary body of work, which was gathered for a major retrospective at the Quadrat Museum (which was created for the Albers legacy) in Bottrop, Germany.
During the 1960s Leeb created a series of lithoraphs n the Mourlot atelier for powerful Germany editors, and before that he created for Lawrence Jeppson silkscreen prints using 54 different original screens. His work, Nucleaire was one of these works. The works of Nat Leeb are
