Born in Perugia, Italy
Professor of Oriental Art in Paris 1901-1912
Studio, Asnières-sur-Seine, Asnières, France.

Left Paris in the summer of 1912 went via Brest, Brittany to New York, USA then across the USA by coach to San Francisco, where he took a steamer to Tokyo, Japan.

Commissioned by the Emperor Taisho of Japan (31 August 1879 - 25 December 1926) to create statues of the Emperor and other Military figures.

Ottilio left Japan after the The Great Kanto earthquake, which struck the Kanto plain on the Japanese main island of Honshu on Saturday, September 1, 1923.
