Lirl Treuter was active/lived in Texas.  Lirl Treuter is known for painting, printmaking, reference librarian.

Biography   Lirl Treuter

Lirl Treuter (Am. 1922/23-2011) headed the art reference department at the Fort Worth Public Library for years and studied under Kelly Fearing. She is considered a Fort Worth Circle artist.

It is evident that her work is influenced by the detailed and meticulous style of her teacher, Kelly Fearing. She studied under Fearing while Texas Wesleyan College.

She was an excellent printmaker as well.
