Biography   Yahne Le Toumelin


Yahne Le Toumelin is an artist belonging to the current of lyrical abstraction. During her career, she worked with Zao Wou Ki and Pierre Soulages. Her work was recognized during the 50s and 60s, and in 1969 she created the set for a ballet by Maurice Béjart. She is the mother of Matthieu Ricard, a Tibetan Buddhist monk and geneticist.
