Born in Boston, Massachusetts in 1923, he served in WWII and moved to New York City sometime in the mid 1940's where he attended the Art Students League. Sometime in the early 1950's, he moved to Idaho and ran a lumber mill with his wife's family.
He created a large body of work in his lifetime, before passing away in 2006 at the age of 83. He painted mostly portraits, and they were all executed in a very modern style with vivid colors.
