Biography Adrianus Isselsteyn
1653 he married Catharina Adrianus van IJsselstein Bloemaert and became
the son of the painter Hendrick Bloemaert of Utrecht (about 1601-1671).
From 1647 to 1650, Adriano resided in Rome, where he was given the name of 'loose' by Bent-veughels. However,
it was not for his quick stroke that the painter was called 'the
Loose', but for his licentious behavior and his activities rather

legal proceedings against Van IJsselstein in the endless dispute over
