Biography Ernest Schwiebert
Ernest Schwiebert's first public recognition came with his 1955 book Matching the Hatch. Penning the comprehensive work, as well as illustrating the color plates, the book's title and descriptions would become commonplace within circles of fly tiers.
Attending the University of Ohio, Schwiebert received his bachelor's as well as a master's degree in fine art (1960). Further educating his studies, the designer received his doctorate from Princeton University in 1966.
