Biography Betty Dickerson
Born Feb. 11, 1908 and died Wichita, March 25, 2001, Betty Dickerson was a painter who specialized in portraits, oil, watercolors and pastels. She was also a teacher and lecturer.
Dickerson studied at the University of Kansas, Lawrence; with the Wichita Art Association; and with B. J. O. Nordfeldt.
She hosted a daily television art program, "Critical Eye", and spent two years traveling and lecturing for the National Committee for Art Appreciation.
