Clark True was active/lived in Kansas, Colorado.  Clark True is known for western scene and portrait painting, murals.

Biography   Clark True


Born near Wichita, Kansas, June 18, 1885 and died Haysville, Kansas on June 1967, Clark True was a painter, specifically of western scenes.  He studied at the Art Institute of Chicago before World War I and, many years later, with James Swinnerton in California.

True spent six years painting in New Mexico before settling in Colorado Springs, CO where he painted portraits and murals.
