Biography Clark True
Born near Wichita, Kansas, June 18, 1885 and died Haysville, Kansas on
June 1967, Clark True was a painter, specifically of western
scenes. He studied at the Art Institute of Chicago before World
War I and, many years later, with James Swinnerton in California.
True spent six years painting in New Mexico before settling in Colorado Springs, CO where he painted portraits and murals.
