Born in Illinois on Oct. 5, 1868. Widowed at an early age, Mrs. Scheinert made her living as a commercial artist and painted fine art in her leisure. Her forte was floral still lifes, especially roses. While recooperating from an auto accident, she had an art studio in Boulder, CO in 1930. Soon thereafter, she moved to southern California and settled in Glendale. She died there on Sept. 10, 1942.
