Exhibition in three-person show of Ventura artists, "All-About-Art, Fresno", per Fresno Bee, June 1, 1969, p. 51, and adds “Bettie Palmer is the most versatile of the trio, showing primitive woodblock prints, sensitively hued watercolor florals and collages.”
“The Paintings of Mrs. Bettie Palmer will be shown at the Plaza Gallery of Fine Arts, 345 N. Fifth St., during October. … Mrs. Palmer, Chairman of the new Federation of Art Association, is a teacher as well as an artist. She received her A. B. degree from the University of California, Berkeley in 1937, and was a member of the art honor society Delta Epsilon.
