Born in Tucson, AZ on Oct. 17, 1906. Rose was educated in Shanghai at Ecole Municipale Francaise. He began his career in San Francisco in the early 1930s. During WWII he was assigned to the Pentagon as Chief Art Director for the War Dept. Returning to San Francisco in 1948, he continued as a commercial artist, landscaper and real estate broker. He later lived in Santa Rosa, CA until his death in Gerserville on Jan. 9, 2007.
