Born in Ohio on Oct. 10, 1855. Ambos spent most of her life in Columbus, OH. By 1930 she had joined her brother, Charles, in Long Beach, CA. A spinster, she died there on Aug. 12, 1940. Her forte was painting on silk. Exh: Ohio State Fair, 1887 (awards).
