George Bruce Bumann (1976-)
A sculptor of wild and domestic animals, George Bumann was born in Syracuse, New York in 1976 and grew up in the surroundings of his mother's upstate New York sculpture studio.
He pursued formal education in wildlife ecology for his BS and MS degrees. Self-taught as an artist, his work is influenced by the impressionists and classical animaliers.
He is a member of the Society of Animal Artists and his work is in the collections of the National Museum of Wildlife Art of the United States in Jackson, Wyoming and the Charles M. Russell Museum in Great Falls, Montana.
