Miriam Alma Eastlake (1890-1918)
Landscape painter. Born in New York in September 1890. While a resident of San Francisco in 1900-11, Eastlake studied at the Mark Hopkins Art Institute. In 1906 she married Carl McManus, but the marriage ended in divorce. She died in San Diego on December 15, 1918.
